I tried putting on a health bar and that was one of the most difficult things that I tried to do. It was hard because I had to look up a tutorial and it was something that was new to me. I had to look back at a lot of tutorials because I would forget on how to do a certain thing. The health bar was confusing at first, but after I finished I realized why I did the things I did. I also added a menu that has an option for easy, medium, or hard level on it and I thought that was pretty cool. This past week I have learned how to add a health bar and add a menu onto my game. Right now i'm going to add an alien to my game to make it more interesting.

For the game I am working on right now I am making each level harder by putting more asteroids and adding more moons. I'm also trying to figure out how to make my game have a easy, medium, or hard levels. So then you can finish all the easy levels and proceed to medium and then go to hard. I'm trying to figure out how to give like extra health things that will sometimes randomly appear. To make my game better and to make you want to play it longer I am going to try and give an award after each level. Also for the Lazarus game the blocks would get faster and faster. I think the best way to progress a game is to had more enemies and make things slowly get a little faster. Also at he end of the game I made I made a little bonus round were there is like 100,000 extra points.
This week I have worked on three games. I have made a game called Evil Clutches and that game is about a mother dragon who tries to save her babies from a horrible demon. The second game I made is called Galactic Mail. In this game you are the spaceship and you try to give mail to all the moons without getting hit by the asteroids. The third game that I am still working on is called Lazarus. In this game you try to use the falling blocks to get to the button. I am almost done with Lazarus right now. I have missed a day of school and I am a little behind. Most of the mistakes I have made are from reading too quickly and typing things in wrong. I am getting a little faster at finding where things are and I don't have to spend five minutes trying to find where jump to position is. I am definitely improving. Sometimes I read things to quickly and skip parts and I am working on that, but overall I think I have improved a lot over this week . I have learned that if you just miss one small thing in Game Maker that it can completely mess up your game.
