Agenda for next week
- make it so bullets deal damage
- add power ups
This week I added a gun to the fps player, so when you move around it's like a first person shooter game. I made it so that when you left click on the mouse it shoots out bullets. At the moment I am trying to make it so that when these bullets hit the enemies, it will kill them after a certain amount of hits. Now all I have to do is make my own bullets or find something in the unity asset store. Also the bullets come out kind of weird, so I need to figure out a way to make them go faster and look more like real bullets. I feel pretty accomplished with this design and maybe I can figure out how to switch weapons or maybe upgrade your weapon. The next thing I want to work on is adding cool power ups because that will make the game a little more interesting.

This week I've been trying to figure out how to make it so that when the alien enemy touches the player, they lose health. I have tried multiple scripts and none have worked yet. Every time I try and put a new script in, a whole bunch of errors pop up and I'm not sure how to fix them. I just found a health script package on the asset store and I'm going to try it out. Hopefully, this will fix my problem because I really want to be able to fight enemies and actually have challenges in my game. I'm also looking for a YouTube tutorial on how to make like a first person shooter type game. I wanna make it, so you can pick up weapons and use them to help kill the enemies.
Agenda for next week
This week I worked on how to make a car move around my city by itself. I used standard assets in the asset store to help me. I watched a tutorial to help me out and I added the way points and put them around my roads. I got it to work at first, but while I was messing around with other things I must have touched something else because now it doesn't work. So, right now I'm trying to find the cause for the car not moving anymore. There a few errors popping up that say "Game Object 'WheelhubFrontRight' is missing. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to fix this. (UPDATE)- I just fixed the issue and I'm not really sure how I did it. I just decided to delete the way point car and just add a new one and then add the way points to the circuit again and it fixed it. Next week I will go back to the plant issue and try to fix that.
