Working as a foley artist was super fun for me, but there were some difficult mooments. It was hard when you needed a sound and you didn't have that exacct thing, so you had to improvise. The easiest part was recording simple noises like walking or closing a door. Anna and I were recording some of the sounds and we would have to agree on what sounds would make what noises. Should we use bottle cap or a screw? And I would listen to the audio next to the video clip and try to decide which one would be the best. For the soundtrack, I picked a song that slowly got intense and when it got to the part where the guy shoots the other guy it was very intense. I wanted to make sure it pretty calm at the beginning because there wasn't much happening and then at the end I made it super intense because there was a lot going on. I was going for a hitman/revenge theme for the video. Also I feel like I have learned a couple new skills in Audition. I learned how to change the pitch of the audio because I needed a deep guys voice, so I had to figure out how to change the pitch. While I was playing around on Audition, I figured out how to do it. At the beginning of this project I thought I would never be able to do this and get all the sounds for the video, but I learned that you can easily make a noise and use something different to make that same noise.

The nonlinear video editing method is a way of random access editing, which means instant access to whatever clip you want, whenever you want it. Linear video editing is a process of selecting, arranging, and modifying images and sound in a ordered sequence from start to finish. Linear editing is most commonly used when working with videotape. I can't really give examples of each because i'm not familiar with any other diting programs. I prefer video editing because I just enjoy it more than audio, but both are pretty fun. You really need to know non-linear editing because that is how most video games work. There is always hundreds of different ways you can choose to play the game.
Audition and Premiere are very useful programs for game design and for many other things. In game design you could use them together to make an advertisement for your video game. Also you could use audition to edit your sound effects for a game because it has an option to change the pitch of your voice. Maybe you want to make a soundtrack for the background music of your video game and you could edit it using Audition. You need to make a presentation for school and you want to try something different and you could use premiere to do something like that. Audition and premiere are overall very useful tools in life.
